Hello! My name is Keira.

I’m a freelance Korean-English translator studying my master’s degree in East Asian Studies. I’ve lived in many countries, including the UK, Germany, Switzerland, South Korea and Taiwan, and I love reading and learning languages!

In addition to this blog, where I largely personal content about my own reading life and language learning journey, I’m also working on a Substack – Keira’s Encyclopaedia – where I post more informative content than can help you become a better language learner, discover new books and maybe learn something about East Asia (my academic interests are in women’s history, philosophy and literature)!
